The View from Mount Joy is a wonderful choice for your Book Reading Group! To enhance your reading group's discussion we have created a guide that includes discussion questions and an interview with Lorna.
In addition, Lorna Landvik has offered to chat by speakerphone with book reading groups that choose The View from Mount Joy as their monthly selection. Involving the author in your book discussions is an interesting addition to your gatherings. You simply meet in a room with a speakerphone. Each member of your group will have a chance to hear Lorna's perspective on her novel, and she will get to hear yours.

CHAT DETAILS:
How does it work?
One member must submit a request on behalf of your book club, click here for the request form. When selected, the phone chat is scheduled based on the availability of the author and of your book club. Your group will have enough time to read the
author's book before the discussion is held. You will meet at a place of your choosing, and use a telephone with speaker function.
How much time is required?
A phone chat can range from thirty minutes to one hour, depending on the author's availability. You are encouraged to prepare some questions in advance so you can make the most of your time.
